Just as a reminder to the uninformed and the willfully ignorant: there is no “group” called Antifa, it’s an ideology not a specific boogeyman you can point to and say “the left is so violent” or whatever

Also, antifa is literally Anti-Fascist. Fascism is a dangerous ideology, and if you support it, you shouldn't be allowed to hold positions of government or even vote.

It’s a banner used by local protest groups. There is no organization or unified planning. It’s a self-identifier. Like dudes who wave don’t tread on me flags. You may see those flags at protests or violent riots (like Charlottesville or Jan 6) but “dudes with don’t tread on me flags” isn’t an organization.

It’s a common symbology to indicate ideological beliefs (and a common protest method to obscure identity). Same way the don’t tread on me flags or maga hats indicate someone’s allegiance in a conservative protest.

If you don't know what fascism is, you should do the world a great service by using the phone you are holding right now to look it up.

I got an Anti-Fascist tattoo on my leg at 17. Best decision I ever did make
