And there’s the issue of libertarianism being against things like the Civil Rights Act, not because they’re against the expansion of civil rights like conservatives, but because it’s government action imposed on people

‘People should be allowed to refuse to serve black people (or gays, etc.) and people should refuse to shop there as a result.’ 1) Idk man I think I’m okay with government stepping in to ensure rights. 2) lotta racists and reactionaries will rush to spend their money at these places (see all the losers raising money online for people when they’re correctly canceled for cancelable shit)
