Does it make it less true? I’m all for celebrating, but so long as capitalism exists, there will always be queerphobia. In turn, queerphobia yields identity politics as a response, which normalizes and legitimizes capitalism. So long as we live under this economic system, hatred and violence toward our community will continue indefinitely
