dead serious when i say i think charlie kirks death may contribute to the downfall of AI. obviously it's more so the regression in AI content quality broadly but because he's so prominent in that disturbance to the training data i think he'll be a major factor in it enshittifying

Is there an actual study showing that more and more faces look like Charlie Kirk? Seems almost irresponsible if these models are being trained on any random picture from the internet and not known datasets and authors (AP, Getty, etc — which would require money of course)

i don't have a study on the kirkification of ai sadly. it's more of a personal anecdote that said, ai regression is pretty well understood and it does appear we've reached a plateau in terms of fresh, high quality data to train on. slowing ai progress is a non-starter for a lot of these corporations
