Because a lot of white ppl view animals higher than non white ppl. Ffs, I’m pretty sure animals got rights before black ppl did.(gonna fact check this)

Yea I was right, first even Anti-Animal abuse bill was signed in 1828 and was known as “Act to Precent Cruelty To Animals” meanwhile slaves weren’t freed until 1865, weren’t viewed as citizen until 1868, and didn’t gain “equal rights” until 1964…
