People shouldn’t dress like slobs when flying. We should really bring some civility back to flights.

Why is asking people to behave and dress nice controversial? Do you want society to run around like a bunch of apes? Or do you just not like it because a republican said it?

Because that should be a universally agreed upon thing. We should treat everyone in public with kindness, we should care about how we present our selves to the world. Like this isn’t a political issue even, it’s just a matter of whether people want to be civilized in a freaking airport.

Wearing comfortable clothes means you're an uncivilized ape? I hope you keep this same energy irl bc you'll soon realize how stupid it is

If I’m gonna be sitting on an airport and then on a plane for hours and hours, I significantly value comfort over presentation, as someone who travels a decent amount. Like what in the world is wrong with wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt in public lmao. You said it yourself, we should treat everyone in public with kindness. Wearing comfortable clothes is by no means “uncivilized.”

If I want to wear pajamas in public Thats my freedom of expression protected by the first amendment bbgrill. It does not hurt our country and if it makes you mad it is a You issue. There are Real problems we could be focusing on

This is America we do what we want. Having rigid social norms for things like appearance like they do in Europe isn’t what we do. You can dress nice if you want but you can also dress comfy.

Why does it matter what clothes I'm wearing when my plane spears into another plane bc no ATC?

So you consider poor people who can't afford nice clothes apes. And I'm supposed to believe we are the indecent ones...

The FAA shouldn’t let Boeing manage safety oversight for Boeing after hundreds of people have been killed; we have bigger issues here
