kinda? it’s just mostly stuff that they could pretty easily do themselves with an ounce of tech knowledge. And for the house calls, the person who is calling about a neighbor breaking the law is also breaking the law. Last week, I went to document reports of a neighbor running an illegal business. When I arrived, the neighbor who made the call had goats (most farm animals are illegal in my city).
Not police work, it’s work for state & city officials, helping the ppl in their district. i don’t even think this house call was in our field since it’s more of a License and Inspections or City Council case, not State Rep. The call in question was a family running basically a speakeasy and throwing huge parties 4 nights a week. We had to document it since the guy had video evidence, but like why tf are you asking us to deal with L&I violations when you have several L&I violations yourself???
