Good news for you is that taxpayer dollars don’t go towards paying college athletes. They can get scholarships like any other student

Bad news for you because that is 100% happening all across the country. State legislatures are designating NIL funding packages for state schools, funded by tax revenue. But stay confidently wrong. It suits you.

Which state is that so I can look. Haven’t found a single thing that says taxes are being used to pay athletes. I do keep finding states who have earmarked money towards athletic departments as a whole but that ain’t the same. So gimme a state or two
