I think you should look into fraudulent non profits in America. There are so many every single year and they can be stealing or withholding so much money from the government on a regular basis. So why is it that this is the only one that is getting any attention? And why are they blaming it on Somali immigrants when everyone involved was a citizen and not all of them were Somali?

How is sending in a massive operation in homeland security going to help at all? They were legal and citizens and the scam was discovered already and people have been arrested with some still waiting trial. This seems like trying to use a (fairly common) white collar crime of 80 people to justify the attack and harassment of a whole ethnicity in Minnesota, which isn’t good.

the people involved in that were all citizens… also Donald Trump has stolen like $500m just this year in taxpayer dollars so who the fuck cares about $18m stolen by people who are literally already criminally charged.

Trump also pardoned a man who was convicted for $1.2 billion in nursing home fraud, but clearly op is upset about people stealing from vulnerable groups 🙄
