One thing I admire about Muslims is that they stand up for what they believe in. Gaza genocide, oppression, hate crimes, etc… You make an Islamophobic comic boom you get Charlie Hebdoed. All the other religions are very passive about hate in comparison

actually a very good point. i’ve met a lot of great muslim folks and they seem to actually follow their religion more than most others

Deen over dunya (faith before the world) is a core tenet which can cause some friction in our materialistic and hedonistic western society. We have a lot to learn from them

Not just deen over dunya basically the entire Islamic premise goes against the materialistic and hedonistic western society. Not saying that in a bad way but a lot of the issues that plague countries are addressed by Islam, especially things like interest on loans and gambling
