I no longer identify directly with the Democratic Party, but there general insistence to do nothing good.

In terms of US politics? Dems are spineless and inaffective and it drives me insane

Our national committee ignores who the people want in our primary and shove their preferred candidates down our throats

Only electing old people and or not knowing enough about younger people and millennials.

I don’t have a party per se so I’ll do both dems: ineffective messaging, out of touch with their base and potential base, overly interested in relatively unimportant issues reps: anything MAGA post-2020 is stupid as fuck and makes a mockery out of anything they claim to believe

I hate how we selected trump as our candidate. We had a lot of potential that could have united us as a country again.

I think maga was the worst thing for our party. A lot of incredibly smart politicians turned maga and lost their credibility

Both parties have way too many old people in office. We need politicians on both sides who will live long enough to see the full impact of the policies they promote

It’s also annoying how all left-leaners do is infight, while Republicans all fall in line

No Republican will ever do anything in your best interest. Ever.

As a democrat, I can tell you that our base have not been actually excited for a candidate in the general election since 2008. Maybe 2012

MAGA operates under the name republicans but theyre nowhere near the same imo. #1’s comment on due process for example. Real republicans like McCain was are interested in preserving concepts like due process and institutions laid out in the constitution. And there would only be deportations if they were absolutely necessary

Well let’s look at this past election. People evidently (bc of stupid gimmicks) viewed Trump/Vance as more “relatable,” especially w/young men
