Fun fact, this actually happened with Donald Mastick in the 40s. Not the entire stockpile but a good bit. (A vial exploded and some went in his mouth.)

Also a guy once spilled the entire UK stockpile of plutonium on a lab bench. He chopped up the bench, burned it, and recovered 95% from the ashes.
