It varries but it’s estimated to be somewhere between 0.5% and 2%. It’s especially difficult to get an exact number bc lots of trans people are closeted, don’t want to say they’re trans, or other factors

Both Mother Jones and The Violence Project have downloadable excel documents listing basically everything about every shooter they’ve documented, and BOTH either barely mention trans people or not at all.
