Why is ICE questioning specifically hispanic individuals? Why are they unethically detaining individuals if they match a hispanic description? Why are Trumpies and Trump himself anti-due process rights? Why have there been several reports of Native Americans being detained?

Anonymous replying to -> OP 13w

Conceptually, no I do not disagree with that. However, the problem with “blind interviews and applications” is that in positions such as within therapy fields, POC are more likely to open up to a POC therapist who can relate to them. If white people are all considered to be “more qualified” how will the void be filled?

The banning of pride flags in several states, the issue of the bathroom and trans people, the attack on trans people in the military are just a few

upvote 5 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 13w

to answer the first thing- ICE is detaining hispanic individuals more than anyone else because we do border mexico and a lot of the issue is people from mexico coming here illegally it’s not a “race” thing why it’s happening it’s honestly because you see all of them on the news coming here illegally and it’s easier than taking a flight in from another country

upvote -2 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 13w

ICE is also questioning and selecting hispanic individuals to question about their immigration status without any evidence. Particularly, during ICE raids. The problem with this is that there is some massive stereotype that every Mexican is an illegal immigrant which we both know is not true. Their due process rights are also entirely ignored. Native Americans have been detained as well.

next the pride flag is only banned in utah which i don’t agree with because everyone should have the right to express themselves. the only issue i dont agree with is pushing your feelings on someone else. if you are biologically a man. there is no way you can EVER get pregnant have a period all of the above so being the cover of the tampon box is honestly just humiliating to biological females which is making women feel less. the products are feminine products for female reproduction. a bio male

upvote -1 downvote

will never have that. also with the bathrooms. there shouldn’t be a biological male in the female changing rooms and locker rooms. it’s happened a few times where men will pretend to be trans and watch females change. not saying they all do this. but the gender neutral bathroom or even creating trans bathrooms can help solve some of these issues

a big thing since i was a college athlete was not having bio men in women’s sports because they are scientifically built different and have more advantages to women. running against a biological man is not fair and again, hurting women’s rights to fair and equal in sports

Idaho and Utah have both banned the Pride flag. Many other states are also working on a ban (including Florida and Texas). These states are also adding bible teachings into the education system, yet are violating first Amendment rights. It makes no sense. If pushing your feelings onto someone else is wrong why do I see so many religious people + MAGA people parading around their children while screaming hate?

but a lot of the outrage started with the trans influencer on the tampon box. once people started putting them above real women, this whole situation started. you guys preach women’s rights but when bio women are targeted by society that includes a trans woman you have nothing to say or “it’s a minimal issue”

I’m a biological woman. It really does not feel like a significant issue. But if you do feel as though it is a women’s rights problem, then you see my point that women are being treated differently in America which is a major reason people feel anti-patriotic. On the other hand, not allowing a trans woman to be on a period product would be a violation of the first amendment which would also make me feel pretry un-patriotic

there’s a difference between reality and false reality. what do you have to say about those who now identify as “minor attracted” meaning they are attracted to minors that’s how they identify. so you can’t call them a p*do because it’s not inclusive and now a slur and you can’t tell them it’s wrong because it’s not inclusive what are you supposed to do? i’m genuinely curious because this has been a big debate on social media lately

yes and freedom of speech and the right to protest should never be taken away from us. but when disrespecting the flag and having out of control protestors where people are raiding and burning cities, that’s when law enforcement has to step in and put an end it it. it’s not taking away a protest. now there’s legal issues involved

Raiding, burning, and causing damages would fall under a violation of Amendment 1 However, infiltrating on protests in order to encourage an increase in crime which has been done by law enforcement would fall under violation of Amendment 1 on the side of the Law enforcement.
