i can’t believe it’s 2026 and parents are still forced to chestfeed their infant in private. if cis men never sexualized chests then this wouldn’t be an issue. parents should not be ashamed to chestfeed. babies literally need to chestfeed to live

It’s referring to the same thing, though, especially etymologically. Chest was only adopted to describe what is your ribcage/sternum, the “trunk.” That’s why it’s called a breastplate, breastpin, breastbone, breaststroke. Breastfeeding doesn’t even always refer to feeding from the breast, that’s nursing! Who cares anyway
