It can cause malabsorption, yeah, but won’t those symptoms be exasperated by an environment that is food insecure?? It’s still inhumane living if people with conditions can’t get the food they need to maintain a healthy weight. Weight loss is a symptom but as you can see it can be and often is overcome in places where calorie dense food is readily available and special dietary needs can be met. This child is still CLEARLY starving to death.

…yes, a genetic condition that can be easily treated at a functioning hospital that isn’t getting bombed and destroyed? let’s take food out of the equation since apparently that this child is not also starving from lack of food in your sociopathic mind. CF can cause severe malnutrition IF LEFT UNTREATED. do you know why this child can’t be treated for CF? because israel has bombed and destroyed every operating hospital in Gaza who could provide them treatment to help absorb vital nutrients.
