Philippines being one of the most catholic countries on earth but still having a (slight, but still) positive opinion on it is really cool

One of the most interesting countries for this (not listed here) is Malta. It’s super duper Catholic but is perhaps the most pro-lgbtq country on the planet, legally speaking. Extremely thorough legal protections for gay, trans, nonbinary, and intersex people.
