Yes. It’s what they rely upon to motivate people. Their political platform has nothing that actually makes working class people’s lives better, so they can only run on “let’s make *this group you hate*’s lives worse”

The last 60 years republicans have relied upon black people, or occasionally “communists”. In 2004 it was Arabs. In 2016 it was Hispanics. Now they’re going rapid fire through minority ethnic groups.
