I think the idea is that it’s both bad. We need to stop seeing each other as our race and see each other as individuals. Every group has its bad apples, and we shouldn’t let that define others. It’s always been a battle of good and evil.

Some of it is and some of it isn’t, same with its counterpart term.

No, all of “black fatigue” is sincere hate

Some, but not all. For some it’s a hatred of a set of anti-social behaviors, not of a race. This is why you see several black youtubers and influencers saying they agree with the term

Personally, I think “ratchet fatigue” would be a better term. Get race out of it.

They didn’t say “antisocial behavior,” they said “black.” And they said what they meant

Why do you think there hasn’t been a racial component to the discussion about the crime pictured?

Besides OP saying “white fatigue”? It’s because the white population has been seen as more default in a majority of contexts, which affords them the ability to not separate the good members of the population from the bad. Hence terms like “white trash”. This is something that should also be afforded to the black population, but instead politics fights against this to maintain a stronger voting block.

Oop, meant to say “the ability to separate..” without the “not. But to make my point more clear. The use of the term “black fatigue” is inherently racist (there’s race built in). What I’m getting at, is that the deeper underlying reason for the rise of the term is not necessarily racist. People that are racist will latch onto the term, of course. But some are using it as a means to express their criticism of behavior, not really race.

You’ve missed the point again, if it were really a criticism of behavior, it wouldn’t be called “black” fatigue lmao

It is a criticism of behavior though. The racial element comes from the fact that the black community has been socially and politically protected from that criticism in a way that other groups have not. I’d recommend you watch “Fact vs Fiction” or “Mody Speaks” youtube videos on the topic. This whole situation is pretty complicated, especially as tempers are at a high with Karmelo Anthony and Shiloh Hendrix as major cultural moments.

Is it this “social protection” that’s at play when white supremacist groups like the Ku Klux Klan aren’t considered to be terrorist organizations or gangs? 😂
