A federal judge making a ruling on federal law that is clearly supported by well over a century and a half of precedent is judicial overreach?

A judge making a ruling against a century and a half of precedent is judicial overreach because they dont like that the president acted unilaterally (which he is entitled to do) yes.

If only I could find that clip of Trump himself saying it's unlawful to deploy the National Guard without the consent of the governor...

Yes I’m aware he said that in 2020, either way he was wrong for having believed that 10 USC 12406 gives the president authority to call in the national guard

It's actually laughable that he thinks there's a "foreign invasion" or "danger of rebellion" lol maybe if you just listened to these people instead of fucking shooting at them things would be different

I hope you never have to go through what the immigrants all over the country have to.

Wonder why he thinks that.. also immigrants aren’t being treated poorly, *illegal immigrants* are being treated how they deserve which is being deported, every country does the same thing, it’s not hard to conceptualize

Illegal immigrants include people who have been here since they were young but neglected to renew papers (more than likely due to cost), which is a civil offense. People are getting ripped from their families and stripped of their humanity over something equivalent to failing to renew your drivers license.

Not only this, but the administration has revoked legal status from legal citizens. That doesn't seem like they're only going after illegal immigrants. I'd rather them go after genuine criminals than people who are just here to provide a good life for themselves and possibly their children.

Maybe, just maybe, if Trump tried to change the immigration system and make it less confusing and costly for families to attain legal status his actions might be more acceptable, but he isn't. He spews xenophobic and racist rhetoric, and deconstructs our government all the while.

800,000 people immigrate to the US every year, it’s not as difficult it just takes time. He justly sends people back when they come here illegally because ITS AGAINST THE LAW

Its also not illegal to revoke citizenship from people that are affiliated with terror groups, or if they are violating the law. Thats separate from his claims about illegal immigrants, both scenarios are just ENFORCING THE LAW
