Can you believe that every fucking shooter has been right wing, and despite that the SECOND we get a left wing one (if we ever fucking do) the right wing calls for mass death and war.

it’s extremely scary. people were calling for execution/imprisonment of anyone left of center before we even had a suspect in custody 💀

What do you mean? There have been plenty of left wing shooters. The congressional baseball shooting for example. I’m not seeing any credible evidence that this shooter was right wing.

I think this shows the EXACT psychology of whatever tf is going on in their heads. The right is all about conformity and sameness. Because someone slightly deviates from the norm, they’re clearly a brain washed, god hating liberal. A lot of you mfs have zero ability to consider nuance, it’s all or nothing.

“It’s time we make these mother fuckers scared again” is quite literally fascist ideology

True, it’s a very unique microcosm of thought. They don’t realize that to most people, yeah, this dude appears to be a conservative. But because he’s pro Ukraine or smth, this dude thinks that’s impossible

That is not what you mean. You mean you want to make them scared so they don’t act on/say their beliefs. WHICH IS FASCIST YOU FUCKING MORON.

That isn’t fascist. you don’t know what fascist means

You’re unironically overusing that word, which is something I almost never say. Lots of other scary words could fit. You could say authoritarian. I’d still take issue since I’m not making policy prescriptions but it’d be a lot closer to what I’m actually advocating for. Now, if I believed conservatives were inherently degenerate due to an immutable trait, then yes, you’d be right.

And that’s the beauty of America, in theory. No one is obligated to have the same exact line of reasoning or belief. That’s completely lost upon most people today with the us vs them mentality. I have BPD, I’ve dealt with black and white thinking for basically all my life and know it very well, and that is exactly what that comes across as to me.

Lots of political ideologies use fear, the idea that this is unique to fascism is a mistake. All fascists utilize fear, not everyone utilizing fear is a fascist. square rectangles, man.

fascism is palingenetic ultranationalism. they typically use fear to silence dissent, but using fear to silence dissent is not fascist

Id say that’s an accurate assessment, for whatever my word is worth. I’d like America to be a place of diverse thought, but that is not in the conservative agenda lmao

Fucking bullshit. You know EXACTLY what you mean. If I had the same argument, you would be claiming I’m a fascist pig. Either way, that is such a dangerous ideology and is quite literally the antithesis of free speech

Sometimes I fear it’s not in a lot of liberal’s agendas, either :/ while there is objectively more room for free expression on the left, there’s still that “you’re either with us or against us” thinking. I see it a lot with independents making themselves known on here. I think the two party system is a disease and the root of so many of these problems

I just got nuked sorry but I’m back. Ban got lifted. Thanks guardian angel. Uhhh no I’m pretty consistent on this. I have always been very specific about the definition of fascism and you’re free to look through my many many posts talking about it if you like lmao. I’m not even saying you can’t call it bad it’s just not fascist. Definitionally it isn’t.

The definition of fascism is broad, partly defined as forced suppression of opposition, which is exactly what you are implying. At the very least, it’s illiberal or totalitarian, which is insanely dangerous and goes against everything the Democratic Party originally stood for. So ironic considering you accuse the right all the time of the same thing…

that is not part of the definition, it’s an action commonly done by them

Dude. All squares are rectangles, not all rectangles are squares. I cannot explain this any more coherently than I already have. If you don’t understand, either you’re being deliberately obtuse or I’m never getting through to you.

Sure, like I said - still at the very least represents totalitarianism or illiberalism, which is just as dangerous and the exact opposite of what your party SUPPOSEDLY stands for.
