You have to be so fucking sick to purposely drive through a protest and run over people just because you disagree with them. It’s not hard to just stay your ass at home/avoid the protesters. And anyone who supports driving through crowds is just as sick.

Whether they agree or disagree with the protest. Protester are preventing drivers from getting on with their lives. Maybe they have a dependents to pick up and feed. Or Medicines to get to. It's better to protest at a safe distance, protesters don't know the drivers and how close they are to snapping. Maybe they have nothing to lose

Not to mention the specific incident I saw was also a hit and run and they still haven’t caught the guy. Highly illegal and immoral and you’re defending it? Illegal immigrants still pay taxes and they do not benefit from government assistance, meaning no one else is paying for their houses or anything. They are hard workers. I mean ice is literally taking them from their jobs, using tax forms to find them, even showing up at their immigration hearings and blocking them from gaining legal documents.

Listen bottomline, people should not be speeding through crowds regardless of what the protest is for. That was the point of this post. When it comes to immigration, I think we desperately need to fix the system because it’s should not take decades to gain legal citizenship. The process is incredibly hard and complicated and expensive, that’s why so many people skip the process. At the end of the day, we all need more compassion and empathy for people’s different situations.
