You’re implying that because the Nazi’s persecuted certain other types of socialists, that this means they were not socialists. The logic makes no sense. Most socialist regimes have persecuted other varieties of socialists.

1) nazis persecuted socialists and communists, period. not "other kinds" 2) nazis were not remotely egalitarian, were racial supremacists, and their policies were antithetical to that of socialism. they were fascists. hitler spoke on using the name socialist to garner support, like being the german workers party.
