You know damn well what it means but sure. It’s a broad sociopolitical category of people that are darker than white people but are not black, including things like South Asians, Indigenous peoples, Hispanic or Latin, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islanders. They are the other non-white peoples not including Black and East Asian people as racial categories suck and often don’t encompass people properly
POC are non white people, Black people are specifically African, and East Asians are the stereotype of what Asian people are for clarification on why they’re different. Brown people are basically every other non white ethnic group. Indigenous peoples are sometimes included or not in the category depending on contexts like systemic immigration court issues aren’t going to apply to a Lakota. Obviously each category can be broken down further but yeah
Chinese people are considered East Asian so probably not. They’re very physical trait based categories though so like racially brown people that are ethnically and culturally Chinese totally exist and are going to have different experiences than a racially ethnically and culturally Chinese person. That’s part of where the term brown came from, South Asian people feeling as though Asian only applied to East Asian looks especially with the historical context of calling Asian people “yellow”
That’s weird it was supposed to say racially Asian ethnically Chinese or something else but part got nerfed. But it’s a much broader thing that depends on if you’re going off bureaucratic or phenotypic definitions or blah blah blah and I’m going to bed so just ask someone what they identify as. If you actually care at all go look into the yellow power movement and the divide of yellow vs brown Asians and how these terms came to be
