The study says that they are more disruptive. Your individual experience in one specific classroom is not evidence of the study being incorrect.

Did an education class where we worked inside a classroom. Same take honestly. But from what I found boys tended to settle once we got work compared to girls most time. Then again it was I worked with them after recess so they were a bit tuckered out
