I’m not sure if helicopters have the equipment needed for this, but maybe they do. These types of drones are usually flown over war zones and could be in danger of being shot down, so it makes sense that this equipment was only made for them. I think several were used to collect information about the Russian army in Ukraine

It can also fly for over a day at a time so definitely easier than having a human who needs to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, etc
