Odds are they were here on work visas and then have been able to gain citizenship. My ex bf moved to Europe around 2018/2019 and if we weren’t like 15 I would’ve gone with him 💔 miss him he rocked

well… it could be more than that. moving is expensive, maybe they had pulled a mortgage or loans or were planning on staying. you guys were 12, i don’t know why this is something you’d be hung up on 😭 sometimes it’s just easier for children to stay in the same school system and area, too. especially if children have established friends, extracurriculars, etc, and parents have work, friends, neighbors, wtv
