No it’s literally not a thing. Elon Musk made it up a while back and people have just been running with it. The actual research involves transGENIC mice, which just means splicing DNA from one mouse over to another. They’re using it for cancer research. It never had anything to do with trans people, it’s just very normal and promising cancer research.
