Burning American flag = express discontentedness for American government Waving Mexican flag = feeling as though Mexicans and allies need to unite to protest hope this helps!!!!!!

The only way to dispose of a flag is by burning it so, it doesn’t matter. Gives off the message sure but at the end of the day its just how flag law works

One is protected political speech (although stupid when you think about all the brave men and women who have died for that flag their burning) One is expressing culture and love for the country with the best cuisine (Italian food is a close 2nd but Mexican reins supreme fight me)

Why the hell would you want to come to a country whose government you hate

Read the signs people have. Listen to the interviews. It’s very clear that people just want ICE to leave. Making it into a whole flag thing just changes the subject entirely.

You’re allowed to criticize a government and still live there. ???? Freedom of speech????? they’re not saying they hate America they’re saying “America is pretty cool but not to us. Fix that.”

This legitimately isn’t even about borders, it’s about ICE kidnapping people.

they only take synthetic ones unsafe for burning, if it’s safe they’ll tell you to burn it or donate it

Some were infants. Some people didn’t have a choice. Some people were fleeing bad situations. Shouldn’t we have our arms open no matter what?

A country gotta have a system of letting people in. A country will fall if anyone is able to walk in at any time

Many of the people being deported were legal as recently as the morning they were abducted by masked, unannounced, and unmarked LEO’s . Many individuals, particularly young women, have been snatched by citizens posing as these LEO’s. The allure of this country is that you are, in theory, free to critique your government, protest, and run for office as an average citizen. Many of these rights, especially due process, are held by all on U.S. soil regardless of citizenship status.

I can send you some essays on Patriotism if you’d like. Patriotism is about pride in the American government- not pride in the American people. If they had an “American people” flag I would wave it. People who have lived and payed taxes here for decades, and who’s culture makes America unique, and who are being ripped apart from their families because of that aren’t going to be obsessed with the American government. I’m sorry.

So apparently now when progressives are burning synthetics you care about the environment 😭😭 As someone who has worked in environmental policy this is genuinely laughable. Google the CO2 emissions from various activities. If you’re this worried about a flag def don’t ever ride in a boat or a car or run AC or use a vape or move into a new building or go to Starbucks or Target or Walmart ever again
