This branch campus seems to be where they have the College of Technology and Aviation. Wouldn’t be surprised if some defense research happens there

I dunno, man, you can legally buy a tank in the US after either disabling the main gun or jumping through some hoops to get it approved as a destructive device. (Restrictions may apply to DDs by state.) I’m sure there’s plenty of ways to get a drone, and I’m sure there’s plenty of ways to use it, research wise. Imagine strapping some kind of instrumentation onto it for atmospheric measurements for example. Or aerodynamic research.

I know a lot of aerodynamics research uses wind tunnels and the like, but hey, maybe that’s not perfectly accurate for anything. I dunno, I’m not an aerodynamics engineer.
