Love how the left says the world is “naturally” interdependent and there’s no stopping the blending of cultures but also believe anyone who uses the word globalism to describe it is a nut job

Love how a huge portion of the us population is reduced to simply “the left” and the nuance of people having all sorts of beliefs and reasons for voting a certain way is completely ignored. The more you put people into a category and assume they’re all part of the other group the easier it is to believe straight up lies about them and to demonize them. This goes for both sides

no one that says globalism is a nut job, globalism is simply policies that prioritize global connection, it’s not that deep 😭

Why do you think that the world has become interdependent and cultures have mixed? You think someone did it on purpose or something? Like a shadowy group doing it behind the scenes in secret???

That’s because “globalist” has been used as a dog whistle lately

I mean, yeah, it was done on purpose, but the idea that it was to erase white people as a race or something is 4chan Facebook BS

I guess I phrased it wrong I meant more like on purpose for sinister reasons but yea a lot of it was done on purpose for good reasons bc it has had a positive impact on the world

I would argue it evens for sinister reasons, but it’s simple greed. Powerful countries and companies wanted to expand their reach and influence so they did.
