So I thought ai was just a fancy search engine, but apparently, according to G. Hinton one of the leading experts of this technology, they are actually very similar to how human brains work, and they should be taken as seriously as nuclear weapons/energy

There’s been (arguably, long-term) worse. Some Facebook AI created its own language to communicate with something else so the researchers wouldn’t know. It was unplugged expeditiously 😭
