Glorifying the Obama administration in any way is disgustingly selfish behavior. Yeah, maybe you got better healthcare, but down the street an immigrant family was ripped apart and their children were kept in cages. Across the globe millions died at his word. He is an evil person who worked in an evil system and we should not let liberals make him out to be anything but that.

True, but usually acknowledging that it was better to live under Obama takes the form of “Obama was so great, I wish there were more leaders like him, the worst thing he did was wear a tan suit!!” rather than “Obama was a war criminal, but he benefited us more than the current criminal in office. America is an unjust institution at its core, but the Obama years were better for my conditions personally”: in short, idolization rather than warranted criticism

Seeing Obama in a better light than Trump as president is very different from idolizing him or glorifying any bad aspects. I understand that a lot of people will blindly glaze politicians but I don’t think you know how many people do exactly what you’re expecting them to irl, it’s just not always worded exactly how u wanted. Also I would rather criticize maga than this but idk
