7 ppl died on Jan 6th, 2021. 19 died after the death of George Floyd. Jan 6th was a 36 hour period, localized to a city with a population of ~500,000. The BLM protests were a month-long nationwide protest in many cities, including several with populations over 1 million. 2 of those deaths were caused by Kyle Rittenhouse, a right wing man. Jan 6 was more violent in less time, and even during the BLM protests, right wingers caused deaths.
