Trans people make up like 0.5%-1% of the population. When you divide even one or two incidents by a very small population base, the rate per million explodes statistically. High rate ≠ high total contribution. Anyone that’s taken intro to stats knows this

Depends on what you mean by that. If their intention was to mislead ON PURPOSE, then sure. I never know anymore with conservatives…they’re really fucking stupid.

I have no idea if the graph is based off of real stats but giving the benefit of the doubt I think the intention wasn’t to say that trans individuals do the most shootings just that a trans individual is disproportionately shown to commit them more compared to other populations.

Yeah, trans people are disproportionally going to do everything with extreme rates. It’s not representative of anything. We’re talking about rare math events that are extremely volatile. You have to show confidence intervals, verified classifications, transparent methodology, peer review, etc. It’s why this graphic lacks any sort of source. Some moron made this in his room, not some think tank.

Like trans people drink more water on average than any other group on this graphic. They also are more likely to be rich, more likely to be poor, more likely to be fat, more likely to be starving. No matter how you look at it, trans people will always be a rare math event within statistics because their population is so few.
