what’s your source for that amount of money being spent on illegal immigrants annually? Illegal immigrants are more likely to be employed than the average native-born American. In 2022 they paid a total of 90-97 billion in taxes and it’s estimated they have 300 billion in total spending power and make up 5% of the American workforce. It’s also estimated their amnesty would add 1.5 trillion to US GDP over 10 years. Sources: ITEP, American Immigration Council
