There’s actually barely any news from US outlets because we’re dealing with our own stuff rn, and it sometimes takes a week to search for a reliable internet connection to send something to a US news outlet. We don’t know much about the situation there. Protests here wouldn’t do much. Who would we protest against? No one in the US can fund the Iranian government
