The loss of life at any stage is an extremely sad. If you’re worried about getting accidentally pregnant, don’t do things to get pregnant. Crazy how biology works. Your convenience is not worth the life of a child. Sorry. If you’re not ready to have a child, don’t have sex. Otherwise own up to the responsibility of your actions.

Crazy take, that just tells me you want to control women’s sex lives.. Contraception fails all the time and it’s no one’s fault. Why do you want babies to brought into the world just to live hard lives with garbage parents? It’s humane to abort it if it’s just gonna grow up abused or in a family with no money to care for it. I think people are different than a fetus in most cases bc the cells come together holistically to make a unique conscious person with their own ability to have a subjective view of the world. Even though we’re all made of cells a fetus cants do that until like 20ish weeks in.

life and personhood are two very distinct states of being. a fetus isn't a person and doesn't deserve the rights of one. doesn't matter tho cuz at the end of the day the real argument being had is whether or not pregnant people should have authority over their bodies and reproductive systems; which is an obvious "yes, of course" to anybody who isn't a freak with archaic beliefs about bodily autonomy
