Almost 7 months in and i forgot how fucking annoying the news cycles were under Trump 2016-2020. Like dude is incapable of shutting the fuck up and taking a little step back. Every headline is either Trump or a mass shooting

It’s what the media wanted, he’s their cash cow Voters had a chance to move past all that but “life is too expensive” (even though they could afford college football games and vacations alright)

Even with Biden, a lot of headlines were “US does _____” or Congress/Senate-focused. There was even that time FOX was trying to claim that Biden was just straight up missing. Idk why Trump needs to stay in the spotlight every day

pretty sure everyone forgot this because trump during his first term had a super low rating and everyone couldn’t wait for him to get out of office. like almost everyone. covid really gave everyone like amnesia to his first term because covid was so insane and intense, all they remembered was a time before covid which just so happened to be trumps most recent term. biden tried to fix things after covid, but it wasn’t pre-covid, so everyone wanted trump back bc he was pre-covid

yup! and while people don’t want to admit that biden did do good things, he was left with covid aftermath and trump, so he really did the best anyone could do. now all that’s gone and we’re worse off than we were during covid minus the sickness part LOL just the like general terms of life if that makes sense

Nobody on the right ever has a real reason to dislike Biden. His policy was great. The things they say are either ad hominem (Hunter Biden laptop, Let’s Go Brandon, etc.) or pointing to outcomes of stuff that started under Trump. Inflation, lockdowns, vaccines, and immigration were all started from Trump’s policies or an uncontrollable event. At least this term his cabinet is just yes men loyalists, so he can’t have repeats of witch hunting anyone that goes against him (Fauci) besides Powell

exactlyyyy like the only reason they disliked him is what the media spewed and the fact that covid changed literally so many things that are incapable of going back to “pre covid”. things like prices (lol) they raised during covid and companies aren’t going to go “oh well now things are back to normal and we don’t have a disruption in chain supply, we can lower our prices back to what they were!” like sorry not gonna happen? trump promised it would happen and biden couldn’t do it soooo
