As a Christian conservative, that’s a weak argument for Trump. He is absolutely not a Christian. He is an adulterer, a liar, and rampantly uses foul language and insults. His conduct is un-Christian in almost every way.

God is using him to avoid dehumanization. Sure, he might say some things here and there that offend people, and yes maybe that can be considered dehumanizing, but a Kamala Harris victory would’ve concentrated power in the hands of the most dehumanizing individuals on the planet set on violating fundamental human rights. Trump’s victory prevented that for the time being.

As a Christian myself, it really saddens me to see my faith used as a weapon - twisted into a justification for bigotry that folks then refuse to take accountability for. I truly believe it’s a form of taking the Lord’s name in vain when someone uses God to excuse hatred or to attack the rights of already marginalized groups. :(

Also, I am I no way justifying bigotry with Christianity. Any result that leads us towards the least amount of bigotry possible is obviously without a doubt the Christian way.

Also, that’s an interesting point you’ve brought up. President Trump is completely lost spiritually. He’s worried about going to hell because he doesn’t truly understand or his ego is holding him back. All he has to do is get on his knees and genuinely pour his heart out to Jesus and he will be saved.
