they dont even attack his policies lmfao, they say "muslim communist jihadist" and leave it at that. all zohran is to them is a communist who wants to turn all of manhattan into a mosque where karl marx is god, without any understanding of his policies

For every example you can find, I can find several more of people attacking his policies.

Calling him a communist is a form of attacking his policies, even if it’s an inflammatory one.

ill take that bet seven thousand times over, thats a wild claim to say people attack "zohran mamdani," a brown immigrant, more for his policies than who he is

I wouldn’t say that his policies are communist, but its not unreasonable to assume that his personal politics are close to Marx when he has publicly said “it's the end goal of seizing the means of production”

What makes him on their side? Could it be the policies he supports perhaps?

"his policies, which are the main attack on zohran to begin with" "calling him a communist is a form of attacking his policies" "i wouldnt say that his policies are communist" so hes communist but not, policies radical marxist but not, people attack his communist policies but not

The policies are extremely far left. Calling them communist might be hyperbolic, but it’s still an attack on policy.

Just because I don’t view his policies as communist, doesn’t mean that other who attack him in that way don’t

the horrors of a minimum wage increase in the richest city in the country, home of the most billionaires in the world, with a section literally called billionaires row full of empty penthouses

if wage increase is far left then i think we desperately need to re evaluate the state of the country. if you work for 16.50 an hour in nyc, you literally cannot afford to live. you WILL be homeless

Its objectively far left, increasing the minimum wage above the average wage is certain to lead to a spike in unemployment. (Isn’t it fun how we’re talking about policies when you claimed no one criticized his policies?)

because corporations don’t want to lose 1% of profits to pay their employees more

we're talking about if his policies are communist (far left to you) and the idea that the minimum wage should cover the expenses to not be homeless is apparently a point of critique for you, the one youre really proud to put a highlight on and say "yes! i CAN critique his idea of enabling people to not be homeless!" is telling. if your critiques peak at "the richest, most profitable corporations in the world wont pay a teensy bit more and will make everyone unemployed" then go ahead

the idea that nobody has criticized his policies was hyperbole, and you know that. jesus could say free fish and bread for the world and hed be criticized. saying his policies are the main target, that hes communist, is farcical

The average profit margin is ~7.7%. Payroll typically between 15% and 30% of total revenue. Eliminating an entire side of the bell curve will force most employers to choose between eliminating certain jobs or going out of business.

There are more effective ways to prevent homelessness. A $30 minimum wage would increase homelessness because so many people would be out of work.
