Part of this appears to be driven by AI as well unfortunately. But also DOGE and tariffs

The job cuts data comes from a company called Challenger, Gray, and Christmas, fortunately. There are other non-governmental sources like the private payroll report, which comes from a payroll company called ADP. I think we’ll have to rely on those more going forward http://www.challengergray.com/blog/summer-lull-ends-july-job-cuts-spike-tech-ai-tariffs-blamed/
