What are you even saying here? Most people move around the country for college why should it be any different for native Hawaiians. Also Lilo doesn’t go to boarding school at the end of the movie.

first of all my boy the point of the movie is that ohana means family. they’re supposed to stick together, they changed the entire plotline from the OG. second of all why tf would you go to college to study marine biology in the states when you literally live in hawaii which has some of the best marine biology programs in the world, tuition free for natives?? and third of all when did i say lilo goes to boarding school tf
