Yeah I have no time to kindly explain why Black ppl deserve rights, why kids shouldn’t be scared of getting shot at school, why ICE kidnapping innocent ppl is dangerous, why ppl deserve access to healthcare, or why women deserve rights over their bodies
Liberals forget, to build a movement, you gotta have people on your side. That makes talking to them like they are people too

Well, you should find the time, because if you don’t, they will continue to do it

I’m not babysitting fucking adults who know right from wrong. What fucking conversation do I need to have with a motherfucker to let them know “Hey ICE really shouldn’t be slamming an elderly woman to the ground that’s been here for 30+ years and has no violent history” the shit is inhumane to anyone with fucking eyes

I think if you can’t get through to them with empathy you must find a way. A lot of them favor financial bases. Isn’t that way slavery fell out of fashion. Not being of humanity, but because of the cost of it Whether you like it or not, until you convince them to stop. They are still your problem Idk why you want to ignore the problem when you could just solve it

History has shown us that these people don’t care. Ive lived it, my family lived it, people like me continue to live it. Consider yourself lucky that you get to sit from a privileged seat and say “Gee, well have you guys thought about just nicely talking to them”, as if that wasn’t the first course of action.

You being argumentative and choosing the most extreme arguments instead of having a rational conversation is part of the reason we have no movement. I am not sorry for convincing republicans a better world. You’re welcome to stop bitching and be an activist whenever you want

Stop bitching? Lmao again you clearly have no real experience dealing with prejudice, systemic racism, oppression, etc. I was never bitching, I simply was saying im not about to pretend that grown ass people dont know right from wrong. Have a nice day

Picking the most extreme arguments instead of engaging is bitching

Picking the arguments that relate to me are extreme? Bet

Deliberately choosing the antagonist path when you know not every single person that voted republican doesn’t act the same is absolutely picking. Bet.

Again, talking the topics and issue’s that I interact with on a daily basis is not “picking” it’s literally what im living, but go off

That’s fine, I feel genuine empathy every person you come across is automatically hostile If only, there was, maybe, an anonymous app you could use to talk to republicans where they wouldn’t know anything about your demographics Someone should invent that, maybe you’ll stop bitching after that happens

Lmaoooo not you trying to be passive aggressive. Let me break it down this way Im very fortunate enough to be apart of several different organizations that do advocacy work and education towards community issues, the one I will highlight is my local NAACP which I’ve been apart of since I was kid. knowing the resources that are being provided, how easy it is to become informed, and when we have so much information at our fingertips, I unfortunately don’t have energy to *kindly* say racism is bad

Good man, I’m glad you were privileged enough to have that experience. That’s not a gotcha. That’s genuine. I’m glad you have that. That base, is part of what made you the person you are today. I’m happy you have that, no bullshit, truly. I want that for everyone. Thank you for the work you do in those organizations Since you are someone involved in the work. You must acknowledge not everyone starts from the same place. With that in mind, you understand what it takes to become a good person.—-

You understand the work you had to go through. Why the fuck would you make it harder for someone else? If you are truly in this life, why would you not take steps to make it easier for other people to join you in your journey? Why would you continually try to get argumentative knowing you have this background? You are a living hypocrisy of your values. This is performative activism is. Sitting on your hill of labor, gatekeeping others from the same potential you have. Are you mad you had to do

The work by yourself? If so, make a better world and step up. As disrespectfully as possible. Cut the bullshit, be the man you wish to be.

I’m not making it hard for anyone💀 someone who is genuinely interested in unlearning harmful behaviors, who wants to be educated, who genuinely cares, ill talk to all day. However someone who is WILLINGLY repeating racist dog whistles (Black pilots aren’t qualified, Black people make up 50% of crime, SNAP is majority Black people, most Black people are DEI hires, etc) shit like that doesn’t get a kind, nurturing response from me. Like I’ve been saying people are too old to repeat hateful shit

Oh please shut the fuck up and don’t you dare use Malcolm X in any capacity when you don’t know jack shit about him, what he stood for, or how he went about advocating for the rights of my people. Now I know you’ve just been talking out your ass because if anything Rev. Kings philosophy would better suit your dumb ass point and even then both of them would look at you like you’re a fucking idiot. Fuck you, you stupid dickhead
