It’s literally the biggest no brainer of all time; it works in every other developed country, saves you money, keeps you healthier, and stops people profiteering from human suffering

No one is saying anything is literally “free”, just that some things can be done more efficiently and at a lower cost to the consumer through public programs, and often deliver better quality as well. Government is indebted to you, corporations are indebted to shareholder value
