If you’re talking about loss of freedom with staying power, I think you’re right. If we consider violations that have been reversed its probably the dems with slavery, segregation, woodrow wilson’s espionage/sedition acts, FDR’s internment camps, Andrew Johnson’s opposition to civil rights, Andrew Jackson’s trail of tears, etc. Should out to federalist John Adams for the alien and sedition acts.

I don't care at all about the patriot act. Never did. You want to know why people are calling afghanistan or if we are taking out books on how to make bombs, no concern from me.

They’re able to spy on you regardless of what you’re doing you don’t have to be in contact with Isis

I’m close with people whose families have had to deal with the feds, this is absolutely right. The feds are really fucking incompetent though and either tend to fuck up or it’s blatantly obvious you’re being wiretapped
