I can’t help but laugh at the fake moral superiority, just like after Kirk’s death. Because literally wtf are you talking about. Where was this energy when the right mocks LGBTQ+ suicides, buys merch about immigrants getting eaten by alligators, attempted a violent coup on the capitol, continue to mock victims of police brutality, deny the genocide in Gaza, and I could keep going on.

And with the “coup” at the capitol on January 6th Donald Trump requested extra Capitol Security and Police Protection from both Governor Muriel and Nancy Pelosi, who both denied him because they deemed it inconsequential and not risky enough to send forces, even after he had told him that there were active threats of violence against political figures and civilians. He also asked all the people that were there to support the speeches made to peacefully protest…
