The Battle of (my hometown) just before the battle of Gettysburg. It was the first battle in the state of Pennsylvania during that war, but it was far overshadowed by Gettysburg itself. Almost killed a confederate general before the bigger battle, but it delay them long enough to not be a factor. They confederates would have had the union completely surrounded if that confederate unit were able to head directly west to Gettysburg
