 Kind of makes me sad how we’ve gotten to the point where adolescents are fair game now for vitriol. Whether it’s a trans girl who feels that suicide is their only option to a white boy who gets stabbed. Something about all of it just doesn’t feel right 😔

I know this is a played out trope but its tribalism. Its a brain rot that makes you think its perfectly fine to bully a child to suicide or stab a child for no reason if its perceived as a “win” for your “side”

Yea I’m very tired of people using kids as political pawns and making them miserable as a result. Idk if I count as an adolescent anymore tbh but I literally am that trans girl example sometimes☹️ It’s dogshit. Same goes for literally any other kid politicians use as a political pawn it’s just disgusting.

Typically we’re all considered “late adolescents” I believe. Once you’re past about 20-21, then I believe that’s considered adulthood. That all being said, I guess I just don’t know what people see in harshly mocking young people. I just can’t fathom getting a pleasurable feeling out of it. It’s sad when people die before getting to live their best lives, regardless of their backgrounds.

Ye I’m 20 going on 21 so I guess late adolescent then. Biologically that makes sense tbh. But yea idk some people are just cruel. It’s honestly a big reason why I feel so much animosity towards old people because so many of them are just outright cruel and abusive. Let alone politicians. And yea whenever I see another story about a young trans person who died either from suicide or an attack it just makes me so sad. I’m tired of people wanting people like me to die.
