Dude conservatives had to artificially create racism through laws that treated black people and white people differently from the very beginning of our country, they did so because they knew a united working class would be dangerous for the upper class. Racial divides help prevent that. And they still work towards that goal today, which is why their advertising centers around white victimhood and not their abhorrent performance on every real policy

And I hope you aren’t claiming that a legacy of slavery and Jim Crowe don’t still negatively affect black and brown people today, it’s a very easily disprovable claim.
